What is Vidiyal?
Vidiyal is the flagship talent promotion initiative of the Rotaract Club of Ambattur, dedicated to celebrating the abilities, creativity, and courage of children with special needs. What began in 2006 as a humble effort has grown into a legacy spanning 17 inspiring years — a movement of inclusion, dignity, and hope that has touched hundreds of children, their families, educators, and volunteers.

The Vidiyal Foundation Trust
After twelve years of purposeful growth, Vidiyal took its next natural step forward with the formation of the Vidiyal Foundation RCA — comprising Past Presidents, Past Event Chairpersons, Secretaries, and Co-Chairpersons. It ensures the spirit of Vidiyal doesn't remain limited to a single day or a single stage, carrying the mission forward throughout the year.

2014 - 2015
Launch of the Education Sponsor Initiative
The concept of Education Sponsorship was introduced during the chairpersonship of Rtr Manoj Kumar, enabling consistent academic support for special children. Since then, 10 to 20 children have been sponsored every year, ensuring continuity in their learning journey.
